Sub Surface Drip Irrigation

One alternative to Pivot Irrigation is Subsurface Drip Irrigation (SDI). SDI allows water and nutrients to be pumped directly to the root zone of the plant. The advantages of this product is the system is buried below ground avoiding potential damage to irrigation systems that can be caused by cyclones and the reduction in water evaporation.
